I am in love with this colour combination!! I was experimenting with one of my palettes, and ended up changing one or two of the colours to get these beads. They’re much lighter than the palette, but I love how the colours reacted to each other to look like ice crystals forming.

This set of lampwork beads is another from my palette series. I really love how bright and cheerful these beads are.

LOL Sounds a bit like ‘Three Men and a Baby’Â lol
I’m really pleased with these pendants. They’re lightly etched as well, and on the yellow one, the transparent glass didn’t etch as fast as the other colours, and it just glows.

Cherry Blossom

Berry & Lime Sundae

Waves of Sunshine
And here’s a little phone charm, that I made with a test bead that was too cute to toss.

After making a small focal bead for a custom order, I decided to just play around on the torch with nothing particular in mind. I ended up with two small sets, a gravity swirl set, and a pretty yellow set.

Custom Order

Poetry In Motion

Buttercup
I’m trying out non-white backgrounds. The photo’s above were taken on a brown card. I’m thinking of picking up some nice natural stone and ceramic tiles next time I’m at the hardware store to try out. I think having the colour in the backgrounds is much easier on the eyes than the white, but I do love the crispness white gives you…. So what do you all think? Any suggestions?

I decided to make some pendants with a few of my palette bead focals. They’re just plain with a Swarovski crystal either side, as I wanted the bead to be the feature.

Spring Fever

Forest Dweller

Holiday on the Coast

Ruby Iron - I love how the silver plum glass in this bead looks like wrought iron, it also had some funky reactions with the other coloured glass.

I’ve recently completed some new graphics for business cards, ad’s, etc.
I’ve freshened up the previous designs I created for Crystal Flair and the Beading Forum.
Created a business card and swing tags for Melissa Player of Bead Art & Design.
As well as creating a 1/4 page magazine ad for The Whimsical Bead.

The last several days I have been considering offering my palette beads as made to order beads. In other words, I offer each palette in three sizes, then you order how many of whichever size that you want. I’ll state sizes, etc on the listings, as well as have a photo of each size in those colours.
For example, you order one large, two medium, and four small, then I make them up to suit.
To give me some time (in case of emergancies, etc) you’d have to allow for a week between ordering and posting.
At first, I’d only start with my bumpy palette beads, as I have them pretty much down pat now.
So! What do you all think? I’d love some feedback on this idea, to see if it’s worth setting up.
Let me know!

Ren requested a set like the Porteus beads, but without the bumpy bits lol
So here they are! The colours came out more blue/green because I had to work them in the flame longer for shaping. That’s one of the wonderful things about the ‘terra’ glass, depending on how you work it (hot/cold, long time/short time, etc) you get different colours.
Hope you like them Ren!

I’m really loving the colours you can get out of the ‘terra’ glass. I got some gorgeous hues in this set, purples, greens and blues. And the ‘terra’ glass reacted with the base glass to form a webbing pattern over the base colour. Really pleased with these. *grin*
