My mum and I have started knitting some scarves together.  We have made one for each member of the family, as well as some for friends.  We’ve actually gone rather crazy with it LOL  It’s been some great mother/daughter time together.

I’ve popped some of the scarves up on my website for sale.  I couldn’t resist ordering some more gorgeous hand-dyed and hand-yarned wool, so when they’re made up, they’ll be added as well.

At the moment on the site I have three scarves made with acrylic and one made with beautiful Australian wool.  Can’t wait for the new wool to arrive, some of them are mixes of merino wool and tussah silk, etc.  They’re divine colours too.  All the scarves listed are tubular with gathered ends, so that you get double the thickness, and they’re long, so you will be nice and toasty with them wrapped around you.

I never realised how hard it is to photograph wool!  And being long scarves I had to fold them over to get all of them in the shot.  Will have to have a play around with the photographs to find something that works really well.

Oh my!  I’ve been very bad!  I had completely forgotten about the April 2008 draw!
