About me… hmmm what can I tell you about myself.

Well I’m from Sydney, Australia. I’ve lived her my whole life (since 1974) lol that gives away my age doesn’t it lmao

I’m currently my mum’s carer, she has Multiple Sclerosis. I left work in 2001 to become her full time carer. Before that, I worked in accounts/admin for a small business.

In early 2004 I discovered beading and I haven’t looked back. Beading and jewellery making really sparked my imagination and has become a passion in life. Through beading I learnt about lampwork beads and I now create those as well.

I kinda fell into making the graphics. I am a member of an online beading community, www.beadingforum.com.au and one day one of the other members asked for opinions on her business cards she just designed. I asked if I could have a play around with the graphic, and ended up creating her final design. Since then I have designed many business cards for other jewellery designers, as well as some other businesses.

I have gained many new friends through beading, some online, some not online. To be completely honest, beading and everything that came with it has enriched my life. Of course, sometimes I doubt myself and my ability, I doubt if I am really any good at this, but then, that is a part of life isn’t it? It’s these doubts that we have to fight past and move on from that make us better people.
